Or you could bring the cables thru the transom and into bell cranks, then hook solid rods from the other side of the cranks to the servo.... You follow that?

I have been hunting around for nice bearinged bell cranks but all I have been able to find is Traxxas ones.Here is what I have so far

Shawn in my hpr I got a 3 inch piece of this. its shifter cable liner for road bikes ( pedal bikes ) it has a near perfect fit that will allow no water at all to come in. I have no heat shrink tubing or anything else to seal it. I just used a drop of ca to hold in place. The wire needs to be kinda free moving otherwise the cables fight each other

I was figuring bike cable was all it was.

Why not just make the servo horn wider ?
Instead of bending the cables in to it,
Would make for a straight run.

I can make another horn if I need to this way.

Have you considered using two steering servos? One steering cable to each one and a Y harness to connect to the rx. That's how I did my old Thunderbolt "Goldfinger" as well as the DF Explorer I built.

I had thought of that but I think I have it figured out now.The 1/8th brass tube is the trick.

I always base my setups on the "servo first" making sure the rudder can move. You can always skip the idea of using the hydrawlic arms and do what I did on the MHZ 114
just use them as dummies

I was wondering where you were. I think I got it now,I just need my servo mount to show with my other early Xmas stuff.Boy I have alot of Xmas's.Thanks to Steve and others.I'm going to get the servo solid first.My main problem is that I had to keep everything back so far for my CG on this one.It is a sturdy front end.

Good for you bud.I took a break awhile back but it is winter now.More indoor stuff. And that is a good finished result.See where were you this AM.
