Is there a chart or graph of what all the classes are/mean? I wouldn't mind getting into racing or starting one where I live.
        24 R/C vehicles and still counting...What budget?

Lol, Peter I hope he was joking around Either that or Tyler has some trigger hair throttle control down pat, that would be some interesting torque roll for sure And with the 2280's highest kv of 1480 it would be a minimum of a 6s boat, which fitting 6s batts in a DF26 would get interesting. You might get away with a 2250/5 on 4s? I will be trying a 1515, 1521 and 1950 in mine.

I didn't think it possible and figured 6s would have be minimum also but I have seen some pretty strange things on here over the last 6 years........... To top that off Tyler is extremely knowledgeable with fast boats so that definitely got my attention .

That he is to be sure….and all I can say is one of the best paths to winning is to watch the pros up close and personal.
I've learned far more from attending SAWS events then all the hundreds of posts I've read

                              Peter,

I took the pic for fun when I was fitting the new motor mount you made for the 1930 Lehner. Although a 2280 does fit and could be made to work, realistically you need a stout set of batteries and 3300mAh is not going to cut it. A 2250/5 on 6S might work though........

And just so I am clear I am only speaking on SAW set-ups, I would urge against a DF26 for heat racing. I raced my DF26 N2 in a P mono heat and altough I could keep up speed wise the little boat could not handle the chop with the larger hulls. Somewhere there is a youtube video, but I can't find it. If you want to race a P mono, look at the proven set-ups (DF33, Cyberstorm, Titan, Seaducer, Rico, etc)

Ive been working a little on the stuffing tube setup. I made a plug for the 19/32 brass out of 1/2 rock maple. i coated it with ultra thin super glue then glued it in.
then i glued that to the hull and layed some carbon on that. After that i sanded and brushed 4 hour resin over everything and taped all holes to get it in every little crack. usually i heat the epoxy in microwave to get it nice and thin, it really flows and gets in everywhere. then the stuffing tube i pushed in a goot half inch past the plug and glued. lastly i used resin to fill in the inside of the wet well ( thats why i pushed the 1/4 brass, past the plug ). just heat the resin and scrape on inside of tube. it will run down nicely, especially if its a very slow resin. everything is water tight.
