is it chime walking to the right or is it just wanting to turn right? If its not chime walking its probably prop walk and shimming the stinger to the left will eliminate this. Also a nice sharp prop will also help eliminating this. .Ill get you some pics later tonight..All I use are feeler gauges from an auto parts store and trim them as necessary with a dremel..

Heres some pics..It dosent take much..This is the second one Ive put in.The first shim I put in was a .015" and it still had a bit of walk...My batts are charging now and Im gonna try the .026" (.65mm) shim ive put in..It should eliminate the prop walk..Ill let you know later how it went.

OMG I wish I would have recorded my run today! Was tearing up the city pond and after a minute or so the pond started getting choppy..I did a Full Throttle pass and I hit a small wake..It rode the prop for like 50 feet then the air finally took it..Ended up doing 1 flip and a roll in the air and landed nose first in the water..It was the most awesome submarine Ive ever seen..And it just kept on going..LOL!!! My hull is beginning to look like a banana with white cracks spiderwebing everywhere. :) .Ohh well..Every time I see a new one I just touch it up with some super thin..Originally posted by Drax21 View PostThanks Mike. Need a video of your boat running!
The .026" shim worked pretty good..Still just a hair of right turn so Im gonna add a .032" shim next.. Each run It just gets faster and faster!!!!

Sounds like your having a great time Mike. When I saw my lake was choppy I thought
but didn't get enough speed for any excitement. Weird it getting cracks like that. I had a Pursuit before my Cyber Storm. Sold the Pursuit to buy a load of tools and batteries for the Cyber Storm. I ran the pursuit at 50MPH about 5 times and the only time I got a crack was when I grabbed it by only the right side while getting it down off the shelf lol. I have re-enforced my cyber storm around the hatch and sides with epoxy but if I start to see too many cracks after a few runs the CF is coming out. What run times are you getting?

So I went to work on that stuffing tube today. 1st I took out the old teflon liner then replaced with new one which I cut to a longer length than the previous. I then cut 1.5cm of stuffing tube and place around the teflon line so its an extender. I still have more than 1/4 of an inch gap but only just. I connected the old stuffing tube to the new extended bit with epoxy. I reckon it will also need an extra support.
Here's some pics. The old teflon liner was very small in fact I don't think it was even long enough to go all the way down the old stuffing tube length.

Just got my M445 through the post balanced, sharpened and polished. Great job on it. The M645 was causing a bit of heat but will probably end up using the M645 to get my Max speed for quick runs.
I bought a Power Plus battery off a local dealer. They are much smaller and lighter than most Lipos and made up of Samsung cells meted down I believe. Wires are a bit small at only 12 AWG. Discharge is 25-45c which is also low but I will document its performance. Will run this then my Turnigy pack.
I have added some more support to the extended stuffing tube, doesn't look as clean now but will be much stronger.Everything that has a beginning, has an End

Wow Mike, That is sweet. After seeing this I may ditch my 4s set-up! I have rarely seen a boat tuned that good, going at that speed.
That pond is surely a bit small for that Beast. What were you doin 0-58 in 2 secs???!!Everything that has a beginning, has an End

That is Insane. On 4s I have to work my way up to that sort of speed but I like the amount of immediate power that comes with 6s. And your run times are?Originally posted by pyroM!KE View PostWell the run I had last week that the cop radar'ed was 57.4..And that was with a set of packs that had over 2 minutes on them! I need a GPS...But he said it did 0 to 57 pretty much instantly from what his radar showed...

About 3:30 with the 447/3...Im gonna try my m445 the next run to see how long I get with it..Im gonna guess a lil over 4 min..
However..These times are conservative..Thats only using 75% capacity..I might be able to squease another half minute out of them..But with my setup right now with the 447/3 , That is all Im gonna do..By all means Im safe as far as temps, but Im not gonna try any prop bigger than the 447 because I think I have all the electrics used to the "Safe" max........

At my nearest competition lake. I need to last 5:30 mins but the max mah is 5000mah. Hate the rules. So if I run on 4s I guess I will need a 20c battery. Although the estimator is giving me 7.5mins at 40c discharge.
Check out my boat bag.

Its a hockey bag really but it looks good. Haven't used it so far. I found the bag liked to fold a lot so the base is a ply board sheet. Much better. Dimensions 36" x 16" x 16"Everything that has a beginning, has an End

Ran the DF Cyberstorm again today. Still is no where near the speed I had on my Pursuit. I noticed my prop seemed to be slapping the surface so I guess I need more positive angle on the stinger. The Hull's cg is at 9inches from the back but I'm wondering if I need more weight back there. Will upload vid later but I'm pretty ashamed
