Looking good Doug, wish youall could make it to Fla. on the 28th so I could see that in person.

Ray that was a H-7 that I added some cup to and pitched up a bit. LOL
I'm playing with some others and gaining ground but I'm getting faster results with the H-7.
I'm not Mark Sholund by any means but I'm having a ton of fun learning as I go!

Chuck I'd love to see some video of your boat.

        Thanks Terry,
Yeah I'm bummed that I can't get down there for your race.
That was a 1/6th mile course. Right now I'm just getting some wheel time running out in lanes seven to ten playing with props. LOL Lap times look to be about 14 or 15 seconds. Not too bad for running out by the Burger King.

ok here are a few video's all i have is a cheap camera so i am sorry about the poor quality! keep in mind this is with some used and abused turnigy 3600 30c's (they come out puffy everytime, thunder power 40c 4200's in the mail). i am using jims strut and marks 1450 with ul-1 motor/esc.

Very Nice! Mark emailed me at 3AM Eastern to tell me my 1450 was ready to ship. Ready in less than 12 hours. Now thats service!!! Do you recall what your mAh burned and temps were after the 2-1/2 minute run?

thanks for the + guys. i havent recharged after those runs yet so i dont know the mah. i am charging tonight so i will follow up with a post.
as for the bigger lake kent, we have one where we run gas boats, it is about 1/2 hr and requires a rescue boat so we only run there on sundays. it is kind of a pain because it is next to a church so we can not run until after 1 o'clock on sundays, i hardley ever go there. this small pond is about 2 minutes from my house and someone runs there every day. i make it about 4 times a week. it is perfect size for nitro tunnels and .12 riggers. we get good turn outs on sat & sun. although the larger riggers are a little fast for the space it keeps you on your toes and sharpens driving skills (mistakes are usually costly so you dont make many).

ok i am running again today and will record battery usage. on my last charge i had to unplug it 1/2 way and didnt get accurate #'s on the total. you see my girl thinks there is more important things than rc boats. the charger effects one chanel on the tv set and american idol was on so if there was any chance of me going to bed happy that night it was in my best interest to finish charging the next day..
the bad news is i got my 40c thunder power pack and it was 5000mah, not 4200 like iwanted. the 5000 doesnt fit the rigger so i will have to use it in my tunnel and order again.

I measured 2-1/4" on the inside and 2-7/16" on the exterior.

Are any of you spec "limited" racers that are using the UL1 controllers adding extra capacitors or using cap boards?

                                Hi Mike.
The newer controls have a larger capacitor and they seem to be fine.
We did add caps to the older controls.
