I always set the strut at zero. Depth depends on the angle of attack at the sponson, I go for 3.5 degrees on most setups.

I had a blast with the 1527 1Y on 6S2P I was running a Y547 and hitting about 62 MPH. the motor is a little small for the big boat I am wanting a 38 or 39 incher for it. I am going to try the motor in the Phantom 40 next week.

Do you compare a Volkswagen with a Cadillac? Each has it place and you get what you pay for. It is a good sport motor or a spec racer. If I had more time to spend I would have results faster.

I have a 44" mono sitting here ready for a screamer for which you made me a mount Randy. Scott has NEVER sent me the motor he promised a half dozen times. I've about given up on him.
