How is that for a first draft Paddy?
Andy that is so cool. I hope Douggie from Nigeria can see the potential in this product. We could all be rich in a matter of months. The economy of Australia and Nigeria will have a Boat Lubricant led recovery. Even Ocean Liners and War Ships could do with some of this on their bottoms to keep the barnacles from getting a grip. We will sell millions of gallons of it.
Is 33.3% of net profit ok for your share?
Actually the economy of Nigeria must be quite good. Almost everyone in Nigeria has sent me an email telling me they want to send me millions of dollars if I put it in my bank account. They want to know a lot of details about me though.
Have not seen Andy post for a while. Is everthing OK after the bush fires?
Douggie
Andy has had some seriously hot weather with temperatures over 40 degrees and sometimes close to 50 degrees and that lasted for more than 3 weeks. I was talking to him last night on the phone Douggie and he is busy building his sport 40 now that it has cooled down. We had record temperatures here in Tasmania for 1 week also. It went over 40 here on two occasions.
We are both having to watch our $$'s also. The global economic crisis is affecting us now also. I am down to working just 29 hours a week. 1 month ago I was working up to 60 hours a week. I do not think I will sell any of my models but I will retire some for a while to cut back on maintenance costs. I might have to just buy Chinese motors and esc's until things pick up. There is not a lot of difference in speed anyway and I am surprised how well they last. We are both having supply problems when we order from some US vendors (not OSE). Andy waited for weeks for his prop equipment and the boat he is building. I have waited for 1 year for a boat I ordered. When I ordered it the Aus dollar was worth almost as much as the US dollar and now it is only worth 63 US cents so you can see how much more this boat is going to cost me. We can only buy where we get good service and a good product at a reasonable price when times are tough.
I am not into bad mouthing vendors but I will say that OSE will probably be the only US vendor I deal with now as Steven does care about his customers and is a shining example to other US vendors.
Sorry to have a moan Douggie but these are some of the things that Andy and I talked about on the phone last night and I thought I would share our thoughts with you.

I could not agree more. Steven at OSE is the most honest and truthfull on line vendor there is. If, you have a problem or a perceived concern. He will fix it, even to a grumpy old Scotsman, who can not read all the text !!
PS. I just wish he handled more of the European products

LOL. All us old men are grumpy. You only see my good side on here. When I send Andy a PM it mostly reads like this....
*!***!***!***!** *!***!***!***!** *!***!***!***!** *!***!***!***!** *!***!***!***!** and *!***!***!***!** *!***!***!***!** the *!***!***!***!** is *!***!***!***!** gone *!***!***!***!** *!***!***!***!**
Douggie sorry to have upset you with my absence! I have been very busy building my Sport 40. Last night got the servo holder, motor mount , stuffing tube and cooling entry and exit done. Will do the battery safety loop tonight and if all goes well may be some undercoat on the week end. Have been taking lots of pics of the build for a thread when done.
Andy as I told you on the blower, Liquid Insanity broke a leg when he rolled at 104kph (I know how you like exactness. lol). I tried pulling the sponsons off and you had them glued on so well that I had to drill the broken bit of CF out. In the drilling process I must have run off a bit and it shattered the white tube H&M use to pass the CF tube through. I removed all of the white shattered tube. It is 10mm and I had some 10mm CF tube here so I cut and glued a piece of that in. You can see from the pics that I cut it over length and over filled with glue. All the extra CF tube and glue will be carefully removed with my Chinese Dremel. I am going to try to find a way of doing the repair without using paint. I was thinking a nice smooth hand finished job on the glue and then some clear over it might let the yellow fiberglass come through and at 65mph no one will notice it has been repaired.
Editing in the finished job. The old glass sleeve was removed from the sponson and a CF one inserted and glued in place. The cracks in the sponson filled with epoxy and painted. Yes the paint is a different color but at 104kph who can see that.

I just wish he would open a store in AUS and start building boats here, there is a serious lack of builders here and we in Melb are all screaming, if i knew more i would invest the cash and start something up.
Service is second to none!! and you get your stuff in 5 - 6 days... BRILLIANT!!!
Apples there are some very good boat builders in Aust, they just do not build for the public, only mates etc.
Paddy what have you done? Such a great boat smashed with NO regard of the conequences! Officer Chopper is going to pay you a visit you boat smashing heathen!
Seiously though the CF will be better than the glass holding tubes and I should have done that myself. Keep up the good work. Paddy when is the next sex tour of Launceston? I have saved $20.00 and would love to meet a two headed Tassy girl! Douggie will be coming too.
BTW i am sure your right there prob is a sh#te load of great builders here but they just dont do commercial stuff or if they do it gas or nitro. i know of three Commercial Builders and none of them bar one has even a remote customer support like there is the states.
Probably is wrong mate but we have insulted the Tasmanian's, Scottish, Kiwi's, Chinese, Canadian's I think and not to mention the farming community on this great thread so why not a few Yanks!! After all we all know what having a Yank means and there are a few on here that this describes to a tee............................................... ........... I know a fewin Melbourne as well. We all breath a sigh of releive when it floods in Melbourne because it is a bit more crap floated out to sea. Oh NO now I have insulted Melbournites as well.
Your turn...................

Andy you called me a grumpy old *!***!***!***!**er the other day. I guess it is your turn today. You just insulted half the world. You know I was born in Melbourne and now I am a Tasmanian so you have insulted me twice about where I have lived and once about my boat driving skills.
We have real water down here, not the polluted stuff you have that is full girlie bubble bath. When a boat hits the water at 104kph something breaks down here.
Men are men and the sheep run like hell here.
