Give me a drummer with good basic skills but great meter anyday, nothing worse than a drummer that can't keep time!
LOL started our show last Thursday night with Nancy's these boots are made for walkin'. Great way to get the girls into the show right away, soon as you get one on the dance floor your set for the night!

Many drummers are known for their pyrotechnics, that's for sure. Then there's those known for their minimalistic, delicate "fills", much the same way Knopfler's virtuosity largely comes from what he doesn't play.
