A story worth telling :

Late summer evening, partying with friends on my liveabord home, the vessel Gypsy Boy. Told friends to hang out, needed to drop by the Seaside Lagoon not 100 yards from my mooring. Wanted to visit a band I used for a MC Club party a while back. LobsterFest was in full swing, crowd of thousands wandering around, chomping crustaceans, swallowing suds and generally digging the bands. Went backstage and chatted. Walked to the front of the stage. A big man, kind'a oldster, black leather jacket & headband walked up to the mike and let it RIP. My jaw dropped and I stood there transfixed, paralized as this man captured every molecule of everything within the park with sounds coming out of his axe. I especially remember with complete and unlimited admiration how, after doing one of his signature slides, He'd pop a big smile and reading his lips you realized that he was saying "Yeah, I did that !" Truly one of the greats
