Oscar, hope you do some more testing with good results so we could get some more info. I think we will end up getting new mgm's coz looks like we wont be able to find those schulze. Bummer!

Thanks Oscar! I appreciate the info. This shows that the mgm might work after all. plus you're using bigger prop too. What speed did you get from it by the way?

I haven't measured speed yet, but it will easily keep up with the fastest of the gas cats.

Where it showed about 85% input request it was between 5000 and 7000 watts. Amps were between 140 and 185.

I got the watercooled version. The only thing I don't like is where the outlets are. They stick straight up from the top. I made a plate to fit on top of the motor mount with holes for them to stick through.

The newer version of the 40/160 also has dip switches for parameters
