Looking for 2x Schulze 40.160 "Old Version" ESC's

    Hi Guys,

I'm trying to help out a non OSE member friend of mine Tony Simpson of Viperhulls from Brisbane, Australia. he's looking for a couple of the old version Schulze 40.160 ESC's and program card for a twin cat project for SAW.

Post here for your offers but final sale transaction will be between the seller and Tony Simpson. Thank you!

    Stephen

No program card for the old Schulzes. They use DIP switches to change parameters. Sorry, mine are staying with me.

Keep wishing you will almost never see them. I been trying for years to find some. You might find a single one here and there but Its almost impossible to find a set. Plus Brian has them all hoarded away like bars of gold.

You're right Chris. It's like shooting to the moon but, there's no harm in trying.

What can you suggest as a alternative for the Schulze? We are looking at the MGM Compro 63.250 but we know nothing about it's performance aside from the specs listed on their website. They cost a heck of money and we're not sure if it worth the gamble.

Mgm looks promising but I think the 250 might be a tad too small for saw. Friends of mine and myself are looking int them as well. The mgm 400 is just too big in physical size. I am waiting for a few new controllers to finish being tested and will let you know.

I have an MGM 25063 I raced with for the first time this weekend, worked great! Here's data from a run, not sure which may have been practice on Friday. I'm using a Lehner 3060/10 on 10s2p 10,000mah total prop works west 6518 375 pitch in a 42" cat, used about 50% during 1 mile race.

Thanks Oscar! I appreciate the info. This shows that the mgm might work after all. plus you're using bigger prop too. What speed did you get from it by the way?
