a Neu 1515/1Y, 2200KV or TP 3640L, 2350Kv, will handel 6s. Both are rated at 60K RPM

Both. I don't race but ready to upgrade the motor. I have put two stock proboat 1500 in it and they last a good while but figured I could put a better motor and get a few more mph and better realibility. Thanks

Lenny, I already have a seaking 180 esc. That hobbyking motor doesn't look like it has enough watts.

go the neu 1515 1y keep it on 5s with that 180amp ,seaking . my miss gieco pulling close to 60mph on 4s with that motor

Joker with the 1515 would 6s be to much? Lenny that hobbyking is rated lower watts than the stock 1500 kv from pro boat. I hink I will probably go with the 1515 if it can handle 6s. Now I just got to find a Neu 1515 for sale. Thanks guys

They make cooling jackets for finned motors.
I wouldn't run the 1y on 6s in a boat.
5s is its limit IMO
