Thanks!Originally posted by Make-a-Wake View PostThats one cool boat, i remember when you first posted the vid..........i watched it several times....................such a monster, and the power is great for a 5692!!!!!!!!
That build was about as "budget" as it gets for a boat that will move at a decent speed, and it was still not cheap. You still get close to 1k, even with budget builds (building it yourself).
Watching that video reminds me that it was my 5 year old girl behind the camera.lol. Such a good little helper! Now my 2 year old girl constantly asks to help building boats and want's her own "baby boat" to build.lol

Yeah I sold it. It was a little big to haul and I hated running down $1k worth of lipos in a few minutes...History seems to be of no consequence to me though, as just today I was pondering building a 60" cat with twin 5698s.Originally posted by Make-a-Wake View PostYou still got that Hog of a boat?????? I ordered a 54 inch mono from mmp it is called e Watersnake and then there is the Titus witch is a step down at 49 inches the quality of these hulls are extremely nice but if you r looking to save money I would not go nowhere near the 50 inch range whatever you build is not going to be cheap if you want a pretty fast reliable setupmy youtube videos http://www.youtube.com/user/chris81983?feature=mhee

If you're willing to come pick it up I have a 54" Arapaho that runs "scale" already built complete with a Leopard 5692 1000 kv, Turnigy 180 Marine esc. On 6s 2p it runs I'd guess in the mid 40's. $550.00 with LPU and it's yours. Or I'd sell you the hull & harware minus the motor & esc for $350.00

There are vents in front of the hatch, on the rear of the hatch, and a hole in the side of the hull for the exhaust. Nothing that's super difficult to deal with though.Originally posted by Brushless55 View PostWow, I just checked shpping and it's only 16bucks for that hull!

yeah the ones in the hatch should be very easy to get around... just the one on the side of the hull could be a slight challengeOriginally posted by keithbradley View PostThere are vents in front of the hatch, on the rear of the hatch, and a hole in the side of the hull for the exhaust. That's the easiest one. It's a clean hole with a metal ring to attach the exhaust. I just filled the ring with epoxy after taping it off and called it a day. It was a pretty simple fix if you don't mind a dummy ring being there.Originally posted by Brushless55 View Postyeah the ones in the hatch should be very easy to get around... just the one on the side of the hull could be a slight challenge

Just curious what runtime you got with that setup and what mAh lipos?Originally posted by bill34207 View PostIf you're willing to come pick it up I have a 54" Arapaho that runs "scale" already built complete with a Leopard 5692 1000 kv, Turnigy 180 Marine esc.
