No worries, I dream of the real go fast boats all the time.

I blew my knee out wakeboarding in Dec of 09. Boarding was my life. Its all I wanted to do. I always said, when I retire from boarding, Im getting rid of the Nautique and getting a power boat. Ive pretty much retired, but since Im un-employed, Im hanging on to the tique, making the payments, and when I can find work and establish credit again, Ill trade it or sell it to get a go fast. Itll happen... but Im becoming impatient.

And neither of the guys is me, Im in the water shooting the pics.

Nice boat Tiq,...hope everything turns ok for you soon.Me and my wife were about to trade for a 4x4 SUV as we`ve been thinking its about time to get us back in a powerboat again but just recently TX announced big cuts in education and shes a elem school counselor so plans are on hold for now until we know for sure.It sucks.......Plus i have been also contemplating on finally buying my dream car,a 1984-1988 Porsche 911 Carrera.They are as cheap as you can get them now!!!..but that one have been on hold for more time now!!.....lol

Got the boat, I am impressed with these things. Man, the paint job alone!

Time to rip open the ESC and see what it looks like and "fix" the cooling and water proofing. Might go with a 6s setup and a outrunner as I have the ESC already. Maybe not, we will see. It looks nice though!

Glad to see you sold it, Scott. Brian, you will love the boat. First thing though is to upgrade the drive cable as its very brittle. I sheered mine off after 200 feet on the first attempt to run her with a Castle motor. I upgraded to 1.50 cable and 3/16 shaft. Finally got mine wet this weekend.

Here she is running on 6S with a 1800kv 1512, T180 and a 40mm prop. According to temps I have room to go up to a 42mm prop.

Yeah and the same day I sold my personal one as well... Im still regreting that.
As for the stock flex, Id done a lot of research on them and as long as the tolerences are set up correctly, they would handle whatever a .150 would handle. 4mm is slightly larger than .150. I ran a 1520 Castle on mine w/ a .150 and never had a problem. The only reason I changed mine out was to make maintenance of the shaft easier.
