Thanks guys. Looks like the forum is running a delay on notifications again (still). I just got the notice of the new activity this morning.
You're right Doby. There is a bit of a learning curve for flight. That extra dimension of up and down can get expensive if it bites you. I was actually flying planes before I ever started boating. (started back in the 80's). Now days, the best (least expensive) way to learn to fly is with something like the G6 (latest version is G7) flight simulator. It's a lot easier to press that reset button than to spend hours repairing damage.

Yeah that reset button probably saved me at least a marriage learning 3d w/ helis

and yeah, my alerts are sometimes 3 or 4 days later

No boats running today. Still, one of those good moments in my life that got captured on video. (even if my hands were "twitching" for a good 10 minutes after the landing.)
Being the 3rd owner this was not the models 1st flight but it was the 1st for me after acquiring it last week. This is a one of a kind model having been built from a "Marcel" kit back in 2005. Glass fuselage with sheeted foam core wings (approximately the same dimensions as a Jet Hanger Mirage Kfir) and powered by an old BVM 4010 EVF on 10s. Supposedly flies in the 140 - 150 mph bracket. All I can say is it's REALLY fast if you bring by yourself close and low.
