A 6s run with my Cheetah. Caught some serious air on the 4th lap that wound up putting a few stress cracks in the hatch from the landing. Guess I'll have to add a layer of CF to it.

Yeah I was thinking that was running very well today. I only caught a small bit of the run but it looked good....Originally posted by bill34207 View PostDave test running the Titan 33 that I pawned off on him after getting aggravated with it. Maybe I should have tried some trim tabs before giving up.

I love the slow mo how it sounds like Larrys "Whoa!" is extremely delayedOriginally posted by bill34207 View PostA 6s run with my Cheetah. Caught some serious air on the 4th lap that wound up putting a few stress cracks in the hatch from the landing. Guess I'll have to add a layer of CF to it.

You'll find some slow mo in several of them that I shot today. Had to have some instant replay to see what happened.Originally posted by tiqueman View PostI love the slow mo how it sounds like Larrys "Whoa!" is extremely delayed

Last one today. I had to play with the quad just a little today so used it to shoot Ray and Larry in a P Hydro (rigger) vs P Sport Hydro run. At full screen it looks pretty good on my local computer.

At that time I was running a Castle 1717 with Octura X447 2 blade. I've since switched over to a Neu 1527/1Y to get better run times. If I had to run a penalty lap with the castle it would hit lvc before completing it.Originally posted by Mike CarusoIf you don't mind sharing what power system are you using and prop?

Only an 8.7? But that was a full gainer with half twist plus another half gainer on the 1st bounce.Originally posted by srislash View PostWatched em all, glad you guys had such a great day out.And Bill you get a 8.7 for airtime.

Not exactly a boat but still a triumphant moment for me.
After sitting since the 1st time I flew it in February of 2009 I finally "grew a pair" and put this one back in the air today. Having so much money wrapped up in it made me a nervous wreck every time I thought about flying it. But, after a couple years of trying to sell it without having to ship it and lowering the selling price a few times.... decided that if I bought it for what I was selling it for it wasn't that expensive. It's actually a good flying plane. With exception to the tip over landing I couldn't ask for better.
