HUGH, what packs were you running in LSO? brand, mah etc? watching the first LSO vid, Im sure a lot of it had to do with your experience of course driving and my lack of, but it seemed also that my boat was dropping off more than yours. The first couple laps we seemed pretty even, then you started creeping up.... quickly.

Did you turn left or did it skip out and the hook left?Originally posted by osprey21 View PostI suppose so

Dude - that could happen to anyone.
It looked like in the vid, you were cutting the turn at speed and it just skipped like a flat stone on the water...I think we all know what it feels like to leave the pond with a junk boat or no boat at all. I'm guilty on both counts.

got a question for ya all...i bought a gorgeous s230 prop but it wont fit on any of my boats cause the prop shaft is too long...it doesent leave enough threads for the prop nut....do i slide the shaft down a little and make a new flat spot or what? how much flex shaft do i need in the collet? etc..thanksMY RETIREMENT PLAN?????.....POWERBALL

I'm confused Ron. Is your prop shaft too long or is the prop too long for the shaft with the drive dog in it's current location? In the latter case move the drive dog back enough for the prop clearance and you will want at least the diameter of the flex cable between the dog and strut/stinger when it's ready to run.Originally posted by ron1950 View Postgot a question for ya all...i bought a gorgeous s230 prop but it wont fit on any of my boats cause the prop shaft is too long...it doesent leave enough threads for the prop nut....do i slide the shaft down a little and make a new flat spot or what? how much flex shaft do i need in the collet? etc..thanks
If you still have a 1/2 or so inside the collet that will be good enough.
