Yeah we were imagining what you were saying out there.

Hey obrien. That little 1515 I picked up from you is still running strong. There are more pix & youtube videos from yesterday over on RC Groups. The thread link is one page back.Originally posted by obrien View PostGood to see you guys are still having fun out there.
I like putting them there because of the way it shows them.

Wow! Great 'mid-air" pic of my hydro. Thanks!
Really nice meeting everybody! Hopefully yesterday's turnout is a trend. We need to build up the club and get ready for the 2011 FE Nats next May in Ft. Pierce!

Yeah, it's in my DF-33 now. Going to have to change out the old .150 flex drive for a .187 though. Tried a bigger prop on it yesterday and wound up inventing the "pretzel drive"Originally posted by obrien View PostGlad to hear it Bill. Did you put that motor in your p-mono?

Yeah that Neu motor is pretty strong. I twisted a 150 cable also and switched over to the 187.
Ofcourse I do Ray. I am glad to hear you guys are having a good time. Maybe I will start to build something soon. not sure yet though. I sold most everything, but my tools, and props.

Q offshore & P mono seem to be pretty popular right now. I think we've had as many as 5 or 6 cats running at once. Pretty much everybody has a P boat too.Originally posted by obrien View PostWhat classes seem to be having a good turn out? Are the spec classes still looking good? The Spec classes are still popular. LSH and Rigger for sure. I think OPC is waning a little bit. P-Mono and Q-Offshore as well. Much the same.Originally posted by obrien View PostWhat classes seem to be having a good turn out? Are the spec classes still looking good? Not sure if I will build another p-mono. I'm not sure anything has fallen off that much. We just had a devestatingly hot summer so turnout wasn't good. This past Sunday was a great turnout. Q Offshore is definitely a good class. The Spec classes I think will remain good. I'm losing interest in P mono myself. Right now I'm concentrating on 1/10th and 1/8th scale for the FE Nats next spring.Mini Cat Racing USA

Gentlemen,
Got a call today from Ken Haines regarding the Nats. He has two potential dates in mind. One involves Memorial Day weekend. He has posted a seperate thread about this. He wants to know our thoughts as we likely are a significant portion of the attendance.
All the best,
Ray

Ken called me too and left a voice mail. I tried to get him back but he never returned my call. His voice mail indicated he wanted to discuss dates. I'll find his other thread. I would rather go the first week in May. The closer to June, the hotter it will be.Mini Cat Racing USA
