Dang, it takes me that long and I'm about 12 miles south of you. But, you are a lot closer to the interstate than I am.

Yeah I can be on the interstate in about 7 or 8 minutes. Thats one thing I really like about being out here. You can get to places up and down the intersate quick.

I live out in west B-ton and it takes me about 40 minutes to get there(a little less if I jam a few yellow lights). I had a great time (and learned a lot) even though I spent most of my time on the water upside down.

I have a tough time too! I'm blind in one eye. The spray really screws me up when my boat disappears in it! That's why good sites have a very tall driver's stand!

My depth perception is so bad that I do good just to avoid the markers (most of the time). Add in some spray from all the boats and I'm really blind then.

I even managed to turn over the flat bottom john boat we're using since doing away with the tippee canoe. I have learned that the 1st thing to do when getting there is to leave my cell phone in the car.

Bill and Chris... If I remember correctly, Bill, you have some pretty positive angle on the strut on your Genesis.. Chris, what about yours? Mines pretty level.. maybe a half or 1 degree up.. I was hooking BAD out there Sunday.

Also, I just finished the offset mod on the Geico. This is supposed to cure the bounce and allow it to maintain speed in the corners. Wish we were runnin this weekend.. Im ready!

I'm not positive on the positive. I do have a touch in it but not a whole lot. Couple of degrees max and I may ne carrying more weight forward than you are in yours. Once you drop that 1520 in it that will change though.
Mine will spin out (hook) if I get off the throttle too mcuh in a corner too. At the same time it's been barrel rolled a time or two trying to cut too short @ wot.
Almost forgot. Think I got lucky on the DF33. I started pulling the esc last night and decided to power it again. This time the motor armed and ran but stuttered a bit. I found two of the 3 wires from esc to motor had un soldered themselves at the bullet connectors. The smole we saw was from the wires being hot enough to melt the flotation foam rhey were against.

How many spec tunnels do we have? The final STRA Storm series race is coming up Dec 5th. The will be offering an electric spec tunnel class.

I still have my VS-1 and will be building a Cobra tunnel to run in the Nats next June. Dan Hutchinson who builds the Cobra tunnel hulls lives here in Lakeland and will be racing one in the Nats. This will be his first FE boat, he is a nitro racer he will probably be at the Storm race Dec.5.

That makes two of us. Turnigy 180's are getting hard to find in stock. Don't think I'll try using that much prop on it again any time soon.
