Yes, Akerman is the 26th. Let's hope it's cooled off a little by then. You guys nearby bring a shovel. Let's whittle that bank down some more for easier access!

I was going to have a 1/10th scale Coors Light built for me. Bought the laser kit and had it sent to the builder. In the meantime, I found a carbon fiber hull and cowl (more money) so decided to buy it instead.

So, the kit is for sale! I thought I'd offer it here first before the swap shop. Trying to recoup my actual cost, $220. Beautiful kit WITH the sheeting.

          Same here.

And Bill, I live in NW Bradenton (34209) so I'm probably only a few minutes from you, plus I have the retrieve boat (and homemade oars) the club bought from hippie. Just let me know whenever you want to go down there.

I'm down in the Bayshore area so it may be more than a few minutes but still not real far. Tried to call you yesterday after getting your email but guess you musta had your phone off or something.

My 1/10th scale vintage hydro I bought from Rod Sonata came today. OMG! It is absolutely beautiful! This guy is one hell of a builder. Wait til you see it guys! I'll bring it to Akerman but won't be running it. Have to add motor. Didn't get a shaft so I have to get back to him on what I need. I know it was set up for a wire drive.

Looks fast just sitting there. Mine won't be ready in time for Ackerman this month.

Boats don't win races, drivers do.

After three+ years of abuse she's retired.

Where do you guys meet and where ? I see there are two lakes that you frequent.

My young son and I have a couple of boats and would enjoy watching and learning ...

Nothing too serious or competitive yet just in a learning curve.

                            Thanks
