Last I was told, RC boats have priority at Ackerman. The man who originally donated the lake to the county, did so with the intent that rc boats had priority.

Not when the county has someone who paid to reserve the lake.

I would like to make a suggestion. I would like to race more that once a month. So i propose we schedule 2 meets a month. Either the 1 or 3 saturday or the 2 & 4 saturday of each month. We could start this in july since doing so in june would be short notice. We could also have one of the meets on a sunday & one on a saturday, to appease everyone if so disered. Thoughts ?.

I'll go along with that motion with a slight amendment. Lets go for a Sat on one weekend and Sunday on the other. That way if works (somewhat) for everyones schedule.

I think that's a great idea. Hopefully we can check out the lake in St. Pete for the alternate location. Hippie says it will work. I haven't had a chance to look at it. I believe Obrien has also seen it and said it would work. It is available on Saturdays I believe.

It came from HC. I just happened to hit it right and caught one when they were in stock. (or maybe wrong depending on how you look at it)

Nice boat there Bill. Few more and a Genesis class can start.

Ive been running the heck out of mine since I got it a few days ago. Waaay better boat than I thought it would be.

I'm really surprised the Genesis has turned out OK. They typically have a really pretty hull and the motors/esc's suck.

You must have got a good one. Mine arrived with a bad esc. Luckily I had a Turnigy 120 that I could put in it. Hoping to get my 1st run on it this evening after work.
You must have a lake close to your house. I have to rely on using one at my friends house and use whatever schedule is good for him. (or wait for club day to roll around)

Thats stinkls about the ESC. Yeah, Ive got a 4 acre pond Im one lot off of. We tried to get right on the lake but the lots were not available yet.

Very nice hull indeed. Ive heard a lot of good w/ that RTR. As always, an ESC and Motor swap doesnt hurt. Hull itself though and hrdwr is great. Ive got a twin and LOVE it.
