There is a guy in Canada making Titanium turn fins. Randy Rapedius. They are thinner and stronger than 7075 Alum. He wants about $95 Cdn for one. Very nice but, out of my price range...

Titanium?? This guy sounds serious. I finally finished the fins for Terry and Tony (pic attached), and also finished the one for my P sport.

Getting excited about this race. Probably won't win anything, but I know I'll have a good time!!!

Those new fins look heavier duty than the one on your boat.

The dock will likely go in on that Saturday I've been threatening everyone with. We'll be looking for all hands on deck on Saturday just before the race. There will be tables to set up. The tents will get there then. The drivers stand. The weed dance. Safety fencing. Anything else we can think of. We can bang it out in a day easy. I'll try to have a list of crap to do for that morning. Hopefully we can pound it out and send people on there way without monopolizing another Saturday.

Tom and I will likely put the course in the week before. Too many cooks in the kitchen on that just makes it harder.

Which class will we be in together that makes you shake the most? I was first thinking N-2 Mono, but then maybe the bigger rigger class. Nope. It will be Q Offshore. Not because I have a comparable boat (I don't), you will be thinking/hoping of no driveline failure. You may want to go ahead and step up to a .250 cable milled for 3/16th props.

Got a 40" mono with a 57mm prop or so to make big holes in Q-mono and offshore...

I race my Q against cats and monos bigger than both of yours on a regular basis, and always win, Dave I definitely shook when we raced N2 hydro in colorado, only because my boat was sooo fast and I shoullda won every heat by at least a lap. But the reality is Dave, I fear no man, in racing or in mortal combat. Though I may walk though the valley of the shadow of death I shall fear no racer for I am the baddest mother in the valley!!! Hi guys!
I would like to announce that I will NOT be attending this year's FE nationals.
As the longest standing consecutive nationals attendee it was a tough descision, but I feel my efforts will be better spent on different events this season.

Sounds like a fun event! Have a blast guys, there are a few folks that I will miss seeing like Mike Pags and a few others, but fortunately there's a next year : )
In posting this I'm hoping no one tries to charge me for the classes I signed up for.

loses what class or classes???? dave runs all that small stuff and P-limited stuff so he can win a high points championship?? I'm interested in cutting edge large format boats that tip the scales and fly above the water defying gravity like a 50" 20lb rigger that looks like a 100mph water bug barely touching the surface while it pirrouettes around the buoys, the sponsons dancing left and right, doing a magical balancing act until I hit the next straightaway an floor it and a 25ft roostertail flies in the air for all of 3 seconds until I'm in the next corner!!!!!! N2? P? even Q? nothing like a 10 cell rigger!!!!!

Pags will be slipping Al Waters C Notes, saying "keep it fair, keep it fair", just like Rodney Dangerfield slipped Lou the cash in Caddyshack.

Day 2, just after round 1, Pags will be running around the pits, saying "My arm....it's broken!".
