1680s. I put the longer rudder on for sport. Spinning 648s and after 4 minutes, nothing too hot. Sometimes it's fun not worrying about blow overs.....Originally posted by srislash View PostNice and solid running there Joel. 1800's in there?"There's nothing else I really want to do other than get up and build boats." - Mike Fiore

You've seen this before, but this is the 1680s on 8s running 93mph through the traps.

Joel I have the same hull the same issues. Ran 78 just burping it, the bottom of the hull was delaminating off in sheets. so she is shelved. Prob going to pull the NEU's and re rig make it a cruiser. not happy with the CF work on this hull.Top Gun 2011, "current problem" 88MPH. Top Gun 2014 "Marine One" 99 MPH. bet speed to date 125 MPH

It seems hit or miss with the quality of the CF version. I've built two that are holding up well (other then a split seem from a 90+ crash) so far. I've also heard of the same problem you're having from another member. We are pushing these hull pretty hard though."There's nothing else I really want to do other than get up and build boats." - Mike Fiore
