Octura props fit kinda tight on the stock drive dog, it's an ok upgrade over the stock prop. My favorite prop for the SV is the Grimracer 42x55. A prather 215 or 220 work good too (WATCH YOUR TEMPS with the prathers). I would get that prop you have sharpend & balanced. If you dont know how to sharpen a prop Chuck here on the forum does an AWESOME job. Also give the CF props a try like a CF42 or CF45, their cheap and work great.

For most applications the sharper the better. And thinned too. A 440 is a pretty good prop on a stock SV27 setup. Especialy if you go up from 4S to 5S. But the Grim series are every bit as good. Look at the 642 and even a larger 645 when using the stock mtr/esc. Those can run get a SV27 scoot'n right along providing its not running wet.
