Seal you rails

How water logged are they didn't you seal them? there are lots of post here. you can always remove the old ones and make new ones from good Midwest birch wood LHS. You just use epoxy to install.

could be more than just battery placement..
if the strut and tabs are not set correct, one could have a bouncy SV

I run my lipos just on the edge of fwd part of the rails. No weight forward of the motor (which is ul motor) and tabs/strut neutral and my boat runs wonderfully gps'd at 47mph.

I used Z-poxy 30 min formula to secure the lexan to the hull. I haven't had any issues so far, but I haven't had any wild crashes either. I used a ban saw to cut it, wood is a bit easier to get it exact. I used a dremmel w/ cutting wheel to remove the wood motor mounts, since they are glassed down (sort of) tiny peice was holding it down. Sanded everything real nice then laid CF, but I'm sure you could just epoxy in the new mounts. Might brush in a thin layer of epoxy first, see what others have done for that install. I cut the lexan with the tolerances a bit tigh then sanded with dremmel to fit as close as possible. Then 30 min epoxy to attach peices. It looks pretty cool other than my excessive epoxy.

I bet the handling will be better-- I think the SV is too light, esp. on lipos (that would be known as a "high class problem"...). My friend's SV bounces all over the place, my son's Fastech is rock solid. Getting some weight towards the nose would be even better...

If my boat bounced, it was from a wake. Also it was perfectly level in the air Hes mad because mines faster. No but really it is faster.

Trim tabs .5-1 deg neg, strut .5 deg neg. No porpoising. Nice level launches off rollers at 45mph. I think thats pretty dialed.

I reinfored my boat also but with carbon stringers and its now reall y heavy do u have the same problem ?
