Did the boat thermal in the video? If not, just two minutes of run time to LVC indicates a pretty high amp draw - what cells were you running?
    .
Yea...I thought about that after I posted it and went home and measured again...I don't know what I was thinking...lol

No...I forgot to tighten the coupler set screw and had to rescue her.

I'm running MAX AMP 2s 5250 30Cs. I did notice a little less run time....but the motor was running about 110-115 degrees, everything else was under 100 degrees. Yes it will run a little hotter pushing this boat....especially when it gets 95 here this summer.

The whole reason for the UL-1 power was to save money on a receational/exhibition/fun boat. I got all the electronics, radio and hardware in her for about $200.00.

We have too small a pond to race these without killing ourselves on the the wall, the wildlife and/or each other. The pond is better suited to a smaller UL-1 class of racing.

I will be trying other props and cgs, but the strut is nonadjustable.

Thanks for the suggestions and kind comments.

Here is the Miss Bardahl Video with the long runs included.

This is a movie of the trial runs of the incomplete Miss Bardahl. She ran as hoped for with the UL-1 power plant. Crash
