you would think all Berillium props would take simular heating temps and stainless steel props would be different.

I just ran my Revolt this weekend with a stock set up and a brand new Octura X642 and came out of the drink with a bent blade.

You must remember that props are not Jim's full time job, he has a business to run also, they are a side job for him.Originally posted by detox View PostWhy are the most popular ABC props not in inventory? Whats the hold up?.

My Phil Thomas SS 45 seemed to be running slower than usual so I just chalked it up to my Lipo's probably on the way out. Yesterday I was looking over my props and noticed that the Ocura 452 that is my go to prop on that boat has blades that are bent back. One blade is worse that the other. First time for that.Team Liquid Dash

If the prop was thinned at all, was it hardened after the prop work?

No I never hardened the prop after I thinned and balanced it. I def don't thin them as much as I used to. I came from nitro and gas boats and quickly realized that most of the stuff we learned from nitro and gas doesn't jive with FE boats. I'll mod up a new 452 next week and not thin it as much and see what happens.Team Liquid Dash

That formula was for ABC props.
Octura props are a different animal.
