We have basically the same set-up, and you're fifteen (15) MPH quicker.?
Sir Fluid , may I ask: What lipos you are using?

      Thank You,

That is the 1415, 2400kv motor, right?
And would that 76mph prop be for sale?

she runs, gotta watch the heat, also need to use a 1/4 " flex shaft, the 3/16" flex broke don't know y.
How long do you run? I know on a 100*F day I can make 7 laps plus mill on the 1/6th mile course with nothing too hot. Of course that is mostly all WOT. You don't need a 1/4" cable, if a 3/16" cable broke it was either defective or damaged. I've run far more powerful setups over 90 mph with 3/16" cable.....

I am using Dinogy 4S/1P 5000 mAh 65C packs. While the Kv of the Castle 1415 says 2400, mine actually tests out just over 2200. I'm sure any prop modifier (Props4U, Dasboata, etc.) would be happy to make you one.

I don't want to keep asking meaningless questions and I realize knowledge and experience is paramount in attaining great speed and good results. Thinking that a higher kv motor would do the magic is also naïve, but I do have a question regarding two motors that have my eyes on: one is the above mentioned TPPower 2460 kv ( 3674 D wind) and the other is the Neu 1415 1y 2200kv. I realize this is comparing apples to oranges and also the Neu is a more efficient motor. The reason is simple, The TP motor would have to be build and I can get a Neu ASAP, which motor would yield better speed in REAL WORLD if one is willing to put up with the slightly inefficient TP?
I would like this to be my project before I have to go away from my FE activities in the summer, another summer down in the drains in the name of work ( concerts) !

Not meaningless at all. I cannot answer the question as I have no experience with 36 mm TP motors, only the 40s. I would expect "similar" performance, that's the best I can do.

I just used a H7 prepped by Chris, it gained from 92kph to 99kph. I also used an 1450 with back cut, also quite nice, 97kmh --- just a hair faster than the Y547.
I know these are not fast speeds by any means, but I am just posting the different results.
Your Neu 1515 1y is nice!! That should get you into the 70's, but I am not familiar with that prop.

I tried an ABC1816 on mine and although speed was good, the amp draw was far higher than with the H-7. If you try the 1818 check temps often.
