Esc is cooked. My site is getting worse and worse, faster than I like to admit. I find my depth perception is so bad that I have to constantly work at trying to figure out how far I really am from things.

You have a great site and Danny has addressed perceived problems. The internet is fraught with scam artists and people that abuse each under other the cover of no real name and address.

Conservative? I don't believe I'm hearing this from an FE guy!

I know that most put the water outlet where they can easily view, but depending on the boat and the spray from the ride surfaces, I believe that with some boats, it may actually be easier to see the water outlet on the starboard side when turning clockwise ovals, vice the port side. I guess it also depends on how you track the boat with your eyes while closer to you while operating. I find myself looking in the water ahead when the boat is closer to me. I'm sure there will be many that disagree with me, but I find it easier to see the water coming out on the starboard side on a few boats when viewing from afar.

So Steven, you don't de-leaf the pond prior to running? J/K

I was running my feigao 380 powered 25 delta copy the other day on 3s lipo, its a solid performer, but its really pushing the esc and motor. Well, the boat quit running the other day to my surprise. My son retrieved the boat and said the hatch was steaming hot. I told him not to open it and get away quick fearing a fire. I opened it to find a esc that took so much heat the wires unsoldered from the esc. I was surprised to find this because this boats been run dozens of times with no problems. While looking for answers found it, a small piece of leaf in the esc cooling plate that blocked 95% or more of the water passing.

Moral of the story, run a more conservative setup or keep a better eye on the water flow from the outlet
