So how do you explain I an many others who run 1/10th scale hydros in Seattle and most are full carbon fiber hulls have not had a singla problem in the 2 to 3 years we have been using them? Using SR 3000 recievers.

From what I've read therein lies the problem.The sr3000 rx have problems with signal skipping over water that the sr3100's (In all 7 of my boats) do not have

well I sold my spektrum stuff and went with tactic...hope it works better than my dx3.0 which worked fine in my cars

I sold an airtronics M11 w/spektrum module and 11 spektrum recievers. I replaced them with Futaba fasst and tactic. Best move I ever made. Crashed tons of nitro dragsters and lost signal on boats with spektrum. Knock on wood, have not had as much as a glitch with fasst or tactic.

I can't.Only passing along what I've read on other forums and my personal success with the sr3100 DSM2 rx's I currently use....a simple Google search will provide lots of reading material on the subject.

Don't need a simple google search I think you will find the vast majority of complaints are from when the radio first came out and that a lot of them were setup issues.

ok...you guys sold me on the tactic 2.4 ghz. Tower is having a promotional deal as well, online. for a $20 discount...so I am getting the tactic 2.4 ghz for $59.00 simply amazing! I am sure for the price, and the fact that I am moving up from an AM jr radio..I will be impressed, hands down. It always did make me nervous, when I run 60+ mph riggers with an AM radio...LOL now I can run them with a little more confidence.
