Twin setup?? WOW!! Better do some hull reinforcing, the glass on the BJ is pretty thin.

With the problems I've had so far with Proboats vehicles that was one of the first things I was going to do. lol

I was going to separate the hull at the joining point and build the structure as I did with the Dumas hotshot 7.5. Then install all the components and fill the rest with foam.

Im not try to pop your baloon but, to me that hull is not design for high speed, my friend owned one and i seem its run so many time, its ok for straight away but not turning even with stock 260 running about 48mph and its ....... can't turn or you will flip, i thought you already know that, you will looking for 65+ with twin 3080.....at least, so dont waising your money and time on that hull, get something can handle that kind of speed, since you already paid too much for motors, escs....etc, the good hull is just like another dime to you.

What 6 foot plus hulls are out there that are of good quality to do up electrically? And what should I do with the other hull then?

what you see is Jim Vaugh from my HOTMBC club Aeromarine Avenger hull, compare that hull and BJ55 is like black and white, i already setup 2 hpr, they both running great and handling is perfect, you can find my video here somewhere, search for HPR07 and HPR06, or you can click back to that video and search by that youtube member (Houstondominan) my video also under his name, we in the same club.

I can tell you from a gas boater's point of view the Black Jack does not stand a chance against several cats. Gas boaters would not dare put any bucks in that hull. The hull simply will not work under the power of a good engine like the quickdraw. Man if I wanted to spend the kind of bucks you intend to there are a bunch of european boats that will get the job done much better, made of much better materials and be of much better quality workmanship. The Black Jack was meant to be an entry level large gas cat made for low speeds and stock engines.

I'm looking at the "Flying Cat" from RCMK but was wondering if anyone ever heard of this company before or seen any of their boats before? If so what is their quality like? I'm assuming either way it'll be better than the Blackjack right? especially since it has a carbon fiber reinforced hull?

Their gas engines are top shelf all the way. I have sold every zenoah I have and converted to the rcmk 25.4 engines. GREAT workmanship.

Rcmk's Flying Cat is just over 34", either one Neu 1527 or Lehner 2280 on 6s2p will do the job, incase you want to go big why not Aeromarine Avenger pro 42" cat

I like going big but I think I like the sleeker design and looks of the Flying Cat. HPR's 06 looks real nice as well though. Might end up with that in the end.
