Which boat for 65mph SAW?

If you are asking for my use, I say no. I have a MM and tried various setups even with the 1521/1D the boat is super nice and fast but cannot handle very high speeds especially on the sea.
Although, it is a very nice hull, plenty of space very good stability comparing to many boats and I will never sell it.

If you ask for your use, I say yes. If you look in the swap shop there is one for sale from Ice329. I had bought exactly the same (without the hardware) and fixed following the setups/instructions from this forum. So you can buy the hull from Ice, a feigao 9 or 10XL, an ETTI 150, 2 4s batteries do some reading here and you will have a great time. The mean machine is very good and strong boat.

Anybody remember where that Japanese site was , they were racing riggers across a bay at those speeds. Those boats looked 8 ft long and 5 ft wide.
The SP 40 is only 36" long . It won't handle sea waves . it wont handle 6" chop at 65 mph .
Bill , My son said you were at Havasu Last weekend . How Did you do ?
My son won 4 classes . That water is rough , but not like the sea .

He did better than me. Third in Open offshore, middle of the pack in G-1 mono, and not so good in sport hydro. One DNS and one DNF did me in. New boat, still working out the kinks. We only ran 3 heats due to the weather.

VERY tight course with on odd layout (one turn very small radius, the other normal, and the course was skewed relative to us.)
