sorry I misss spoke again the draw is 255 amps max 100 average I would sayOriginally posted by Crash View Posttrue, the average is not 350 . 350 is its max draw at 100 % throttle for just a few seconds. The rest of the time say below 80% throttle the amps are down near 100 amps
thanks for all your help guys. I will test run it today and get a data log for us to kick around and see what it tells you guys....
also, going to run my smaller props to see if it still bangs the amp draw still. I have a 645 from Dasabota to try

Using those specs, unloaded rpm is 38,060. With the boat in the water running full throttle, it's probably running 31,000 rpm depending on the motor/prop.Originally posted by Crash View Postthe motor is only spinning in the 29k range
shouldn't the motor be spinning like 35k range with a 1730kv and 22 volts?

I had a feeling. Now it's obvious to me that the esc's data logger can't be trusted. Your boat, mine, and a friend of mine all run that esc. All of our boats, motors, batts, props all differ, yet all of our data logger max amp readings are the same...255A. Damn piece of crap. I'll have to going back to my old ways of data logging.Originally posted by Crash View PostYes it is 220

I kind of thought the same thing when I took out my TP Power 1730 because I thought it was drawing too much power, I put in a motor with Half the watts and it pinned the amps at 255 exactly where the other motor was.
thanks

hey guys if you're using the SF controllers raise your throttle end point to 120% if you don't you wont be getting full throttle, thats prob why ur RPM reading is lower than it should be. Try this: hold ur throttle at full while the boat is plugged in and slowly inc the endpoint to 120% you will hear the motor rev higher. We call ourselves the "Q"
