Not everyone has a group of guys to run against so SAW running is as close as some of us can get to "racing," as racing usually does become a part of it even if its against last weeks gps reading.
Doesn't everyone get tired of overpowering set-ups to zoom back and forth?

I am tired of this topic!!!
I totally agree with Keith's response, I am a loner in that my work schedule always conflicts with races that take place in my district.
I think I will give SAW a serious consideration in the near future.Too many boats, not enough time...

I have 2x 4s oval boats that run around 60-70mph. (fe30)
and a SAW hydro that is currently untested (BBY lift master, 2300kv 5s, should go around 100mph when tuned up).
Also a genesis that I have gotten 70mph out of on 5s with all hobbyking parts! (love the challenge to run fast on cheap nasty gear)
Both Oval and SAW boats are great fun and offer an impressive sensation of speed in their own way. Im a drag racer form way back though so I have to say SAW is really where its at for me.
