CKoz as others stated extracaps won't hurt your performance.I would get rid of this small capbabk and add two Rubicon caps from Ose and you will be safe.I've been using this same esc on my saw riggers with two extracaps 1500uf and haven't had any kind of issues Gill
Should I use a Cap Pack or not?

Reading docs thread will dispel any bad thoughts your having about adding the extra caps and will give you a much better understanding of how the process works from battery to motor. It's the most I have learned about fe since I got into it. The small 4 cap bank added to the t-180 was a bandaid solution at best. Adding the additional castle caps will get the esc closer to how it should have been done in the first place. If you want to understand the "why" behind adding cap banks and the way to install them so they will work best read the thread. Ask him questions. You'll be happy you did.:-D

It isn't a bandaid at all. I've never swelled a cap on a t-180. Not even the v1 with just the original caps. That speedo, running that motor, with a moderate prop and decent cell... Absolutely no reason for more caps. It's just extra unnecessary work.
