i was like a big kid when i seen the big brown truck pull in my driveway.i got my lucas oil cat today.im charging my batteries now.this is the first time ive ever had a really fast rc boat. any tips would be greatly appreciated.i do wish i could run nmih batteries in this boat.all this lipo battery stuff is blowing me away.charge amps. burst rate. parrell. different cell. different voltages.omg but im loving it. any pointers will be appreciated. thanks

Don't try guessing if you don't know what to.do next. if you have specific queetions ask them and somebody will be along to help. Why don't you post pictures of your new baby and introduce yourself. It helps if you list your motor size, kv, esc info and what your running for for batteries and if your running series or parallel with them. Lots of guys know way to much about this stuff and can help you set it up for best performance. You will probably get prop recommendations and strut setup advice that is best learned here for more fun on the water. Enjoy you new toy!

thanks for the reply.all i know is i have two 2 lipo batteries. 7.4 volts 5000 mah 2s 20 c. what does running in series or parrell mean. thanks.ps the boat has a 1800 kv brushless motor.60 amp esc

You will want to run the 2s lipos in series. That means you take one positive, to the second packs negative then hook up to the speedy as a 4s pack(4s1p)or 4s 5000mah If you were to leave them parrallel you would hook both positives together and both negatives together and get the 2s pack with double the mah (2s2p) 2s 10,000 mah

You're 'C' rating may be an issue on 4s though at only 20. That is 20 X 5 amps which is only a 100 amp discharge rate.

Load pictures to your pc,
Than in the reply box use the third icon from the right and use the box on the left to load from your pc.
You can load five at a time,
The second icon from the right is for video's from you tube url.

That is ok, I am currently doing everything from the iPhone ,haha.
