My seaking does almost the same thing but I get more than 8 seconds of burst. I reset the esc and disabled lvc and it fixed that but now after a minute the esc bugs out and starts controlling it's own throttle.

If you're using the program card, 1=1(forward only) 2=1(auto calculate) or 4(4s) 3=1(no protection) 4=whatever you need to set at depending on Y or D.

Is set it to no protection just to check it you can aLways buy a Lipo sheild

That sounds like you need to recalibrate the throttle range,
You should do that first and than program the esc.

I have two and both are problematic. I have the lvc turned off and run a separate bec and still have trouble with this.

I swapped almost everything out. Motor, ESC, receiver, even the darn radio only to find out I have some weak batteries. Nothing else was wrong. Boat screams now but need to do something about the flex cable as I already busted one.
