Pursuit chine walking- advice?

My Pursuit with Leopard 4082 1600 on 6S is chine walking bad up top. It will throw itself out of control if I don't throttle back. I have searched a bit and see a lot of advice on raising the strut to lower the transom but this has a stinger and I'm thinking that raising the stinger angle might push the transom in harder but will also raise the bow too much. I was thinking of dropping the tabs a bit but don't know if that would be the answer or not. If I do, should I lower all of them, just the inner or just the outer?

I run the packs pretty far back also, so I am going to try moving them up and see if that helps but before too much trial and error, I wanted to see if anyone has experience with dialing this hull in. I wouldn't be surprised if I am just beyond the capabilities of this hull at this point.

Some added weight may help it to stay in the water to get a little more speed in the water,
And also tabs down to.
That is what I am doing with my modded Rio to get it to higher speeds 44.6 gps.
I was trying to hit 45 mph and stable as a goal,
Just keep an eye on the temps because of the added load on the setup.
What speeds are you at that it start to do the death wobble on you ?

Well, unfortunately, the speeds are nowhere near what I was expecting.. It looks every bit as fast as my 53mph cat but GPS'd at 44 today.. Apparently, just with the added torque of this motor and bigger prop, it just seems violently fast but it isn't . I'm thinking a higher KV and smaller prop would do better in this hull. I went with the 1600 because I had plans on running 8S as well like I used to with my Feigao but 8S with this motor is just too much for this boat. I did try an X450 on it today and it picked up a bit up top but would corkscrew with ease if I hit the throttle too hard at pretty much any speed. I got 2 complete rolls out of it on the back straight going full throttle! Also had a couple of the violent rolls followed by "where'd it go???" then it would pop up a few seconds later... Apparently it wants to be a submarine when it grows up.

I'm running a CNC'd 45mm on it from Steven. I'm wondering if smaller prop and more pitch would be better as far as speed and keeping it right side up?

I like the three blade props to help with any torque roll problem,
You need to get some video's of it when testing.
I hit 47 mph on 5s and a 4074 1800kv pushing a x447/3 and cooler temps than 4s.

I'm running 6S and 1600 KV, so I guess it's not that far off. I'll have to try a 3 blade on it. Had some serious balls with the 450, but way too big for this boat. Impressive rolls though, I give it a 10!

chine walking : the boat has to little hull in the water ,it rides on the keel (narrow and dus unstable)
adjust the driveline so te boat rides deeper in the water,more hull in the water
if that isn't possible then use trimtabs that are close to the keel to create a wider "ride-path" so the boat doesn't want to tip over from side to side

Yeah, If I had a strut, I would just raise it a bit. With the stinger, I don't think that will work as well. I can try to give it some up angle, but thinking it will get too much air under the bow, lifting the boat and not helping any.

Here are some. I'm not quite sure what angles you need. If you need something different, let me know. Ignore the missing gelcoat, it's going to get painted here shortly. That damage is from when it tossed itself out of the water a couple of weeks ago in an attempt to run 8s with this new motor . Used to run 8S on my 12XL all the time but this motor has just a touch more power :D.

i kinda think u are past the limits of the hull but when my pursuit chine walked i took a stright edge to the bottom and found the outside trim tab was too high...lowered them both to touch the stright edge and now works great....now then,,,i am only getting 48 to 50 mph out of mine so good luck

If I put a straight edge across my hull, I have a gap the entire way across the tab. The tabs mount higher than the bottom of the transom and I tried to keep them parallel to the straight edge. Should I lower them until the trailing edge is touching the strait edge then? I have never used tabs on a boat before, so I am not familiar with proper adjustment. Thanks.

Raise the stinger a touch and move the packs forward to compensate, the less you rely on the tabs, the less drag you have.
