You need to reduce the timing on that motor as its a d wind down to 3.75 degrees on a T180a esc, 15 degrees is for y wind motors.

You need 5.5 - 6mm bullets, Deans are only for low amperage set ups.

You can use either, just depends on what make they are & what the suppliers your getting them from stock.Personally I use 6mm as their that much bigger.

Zack I use 6mm bullets on the motors and 8mm on the esc's, in my King of Shaves running 6s. You'll never have a problem with amperagewith this setup.

Spartans are so light in the front I would recommend keeping the batts forward. And I would add another set of trim tabs, lower closer to the strut. That boat cine walks a lot stock on 6s. When set up is running properly it should be a lot faster

Well nobody has said it yet so ill say it again, when you change to bullets set it up for series. You're running parallel/3s voltage. That's why it's so slow.

I am not sure... look at post #111, first pic. shows Deans plug wired in series tho. Unless something is changed again. I wish he did wire it parallel, lol... which would help to explaine why the slow speed.
