I agree, i would expect a fair bit more speed with that set up.

I said the same thing! It is running slow but I weighed the boat this morning it's very close to 10 pounds and that's not including the 3rd battery up front...

Seems a little high, maybe you're scale is off, but regardless it should be in the 60'sOriginally posted by Xkillteam365x View PostI said the same thing! It is running slow but I weighed the boat this morning it's very close to 10 pounds and that's not including the 3rd battery up front...

So before I ended up wrecking the blackjack & re-splitting the seam I just epoxied and cracked the bottom of the hull on 10s... I had some low 60's runs on 8s I was really happy with her! ANYWAYS I am now going to take all the electronics and start a build... I have ordered a 37" Daytona! I'm really looking forward to getting this thing moving! So I will be using the same motor( TP 4082 1160kv ) and my Castle 200HV... Any suggestions/ tips would be awesome!?! Prob gunna start a new thread in the boat build section!

I was curious as to what is the purpose of running so many cells in such a small hull and speeds in the mid 60s, when you can do that speed on 4s and the boat not weigh so much, therefore it might not break the hull so much on impact?. Same question for the "Genisis" hull, how come so many cells?. I have both of these boats myself, so I am just trying to learn. thanks
