    My 2 cents, Double check your motor location, If you mount the motors there , way far forward your cg is going to be way off. Get all your equipment in the hull and experment, I think you will find your going mo move the motors back from where you have them in the picture.

        Oh they're not mounted, I just put them in the hull for the photo, I think I need another mout style, like a bottom mount screw style. I'm still waiting on my stuffing tube, and flex cables. Plus I've got some carbon fiber to reinforce the hull.

            No just make your own carbon mounts and mout the motor at the face, Make yourself a template of the inside of the hull after all equipment is in there place in relationship to the cg, Understand you can slide the batteries back and forward to make cg changes, I would start out at the extreme rear most cg say around 25% and be able to slide the batterys forward to obtain at least 29%.

                    Well that was an awesome video, what was your speed? I noticed that you said about 3 minutes of ride time, I'm looking for more time as I'm not wanting to race it. I do like your motor mounts but my motors are pretty long. I'm not sure how to even create mounts like that.

                        And 4 minutes before on the same charge so 7 minutes total. The mounts are waterproof plywood with carbon/kevlar and long motors are possible just place them lower and on a different angle.

                            I'm thinking I might have to outsource on this, but it'll have to wait as I've spent a nice chunk so far, I want to have my cf laid pro and mounts too now, if I can't modify these some more

                                Either of you still have a template for your mounts, I don't know that I could accomplish those mounts on my own, or maybe walk me through making a template

                                        I will look for the motor mout templates I made for my boat, I made my mounts out a sandwiched hollow core carbon, that I use in race car fabraction.

                                            Reviving a 11 year old thread. I acquired this boat a few months ago and finished it, hasn't been touched since this build thread. The boat hit the water for the first time yesterday.

                                                    That was a neat project, was actually my brothers boat. I split my miss gieco and he had a new blackjack hull. So a lot of my old miss gieco parts originally went in there, but they eventually wore out and got upgraded. Using sss motors and hobbywing escs now. It's been 94mph on stock miss geico props that I balanced and sharpened.
