So it does look like mine is a bit lower. i will just mill out the slot in it. and the last shot shows how thight the motor fit is going to be.

That's mounted pretty low, you can move it up and just fill the old holes

The hole in the strut is already elongated. I did not have time to mount it and take pictures. Seems odd the factory would so that.
