No, you would need to start with something different all together. If you made the German rudden, you wouldn't use any of the piece from the HOR rudder. It's not really a matter of modifying, just start with what you want.
Again, I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the HOR rudder, it's cool for what it is.


The hull you bought is not straight kevlar. It has a carbon/kevlar inlay, similar to what fighter cat's fiberglass fantasms have. It's the same hull design as the FC, just a different layup.

Keith since you have both would you use the $50 and do you think it would make a differace in the 41" zonda or the 41" Fantasm?
You have two so I would think so, except their not on anything.

I wouldn't on your boat. The servo is set up to lay down. which won't work with that rudder (unless you use 2 servos). You could remove that center tray and start over, but if you do that it would have made more sense to start with a bare hull.

Well I just read your web page and that ancwers that. You don't care for knock-offs. I wish I could send that kind of money on a rc boat. I do enjoy quality.

My site says that I don't send designs over to China for production. Keithbradleyboats is intended to be an outlet for people who want to build a better boat, or buy a better build. To maintain a high level of quality, US production is important.

I think TFL is the only company that makes a stinger that style anywhere near that size.
I ordered some of those a few weeks ago, but haven't received them yet.

$550 for a twin boat is not bad at all. It really just depends what you want to do with it.
There is a difference between saying you got a decent boat for $550, and saying that your boat is better than a $5000 HPR.

As I stated before you have bought a big boat and dependant on your aspirations, you may have to spend a lot of money to achive your goals..........speed means 8S and your proposed ESCs will not cut it and neither will the motors.

But you are honest in saying this is your second boat....keep learning as this is a neat hobby.

I wish I never had posted their. I just was trying to show that there are parts that are much the same at a lessor cost. As for my boat I really do think that is can go as fast or faster with the right tuning and parts. I will add foam to the inside and look into any weak points that the boat may have. I'm very new to RC boats just started this spring. My first boat was bought on ebay. I took out the blown glass motor glassed the rear hole and repaired the frozen drive train. I have modified some of the props that I have bought and gave the boat a 5 color paint job. This new boat is something that I want to learn from as well as end up with a boat that others would like to drive, and look at. I will make errors along the way and open my mouth when I should be listening. I hope to learn from it and move on.
