nebie brushless question

I dont know how many poles are in the motor but as I stated in another thread I fried a Pulso 70 amp esc with a 12 L motor which is a 2 pole. and a x642 prop last week. Totally my fault because i under estimated how many amps I would be drawing. Just trying to keep you from watching your money go up in smoke.

I would but a bigger ESC so you have some room.

Yeah man. Atleast get the Pulso 100 amp. I would really opt for the Hydra 120 and be done with. That way no worries.

i seen guys running the sv esc with the ammo motor and no "boom" happening.
but i cant afford lipos yet so im not gona be punching power into it
