Everything looks great! I personally think, proboat should re-do the thundercat 31 with brushless power and new paint. Any reason this hasn't been done already?

Need to test for the best prop; will run the offshore course this week to find out. With more turns than the oval sprint course, pulling out of the tight turns will be critical. Starting out with a radically cut down X447/3 but

Guys are starting to piddle around with the 1800 around here some (IMPBA Dist 4) with very good results. (Let it be said that a large wheel only goes so far to the good handling side of things).

I for one am very carefull to match the right dia prop to my applacation.

It's been done on an individual basis. Doby has one converted. Not sure what he has in it now???

My guess is that they like to come out with new things and not so much a re-hashing of old models. That said the MissG isn't an old model... yet.

Maybe they will but, it's not too hard to buy a hull and do it yourself.

Mike the MC is DIALED !! A little shift forward in CG and a small air dam and I've run it full bore down the windy backstraight at Legg & she's rock solid. Really don't want to risk it in Offshore - I've had some bad luck there so I'm running my sacrificial beater MM.

Differences in current draw shouldn't be much of a factor given (at least in NAMBA P-Ltd classes) you're allowed to carry up to 10K mAh on board for an (approximately) 3 minute run.

Don't underestimate the importance of stator iron, and wire size, when considering this. It's not like a flywheel on a car, which is a singular component that operates independently of other factors. The whole package works together in a BL motor, so all of the factors contribute to it's performance.

I second the TC31 suggestion! I did convert mine and she runs great, but the hull's canopy needs some tweaking/streamlining. 31" length is a great size for FE and the TC31 is oh so stable. Probably because she's so heavy... But for now, the BJ29 is in my wishlist. If only Steve will put her up on the list in the OSE shop...
