If the original video is indicative of your outings with that boat (no criticism, just observation) most of your heat issues are related to throttle position. Your upwind and downwind legs are too short before you are turning. In turns most of us go partial throttle and in the straight aways we go WOT. Your long legs are way too short. By my uncalibrated mk1/mod1 ole' eyeballs your going 60 to 75 yards and then turn in a 20 yard radius and begin it all over again. The only time our setups run at peak eff is WOT. Anything less and heat will continue to build in the motor and speedo. Just my dos centavos.

ESC was a little too hot though and I think it was because of what m4a1usr is talking about in his post above. It's hard to go WOT all the time. You run out of lake real fast at ~60 mph.
