Hey everyone,
I've been looking (relatively) far and wide for proper PVC tubing to make a few boat stands. I'm just northwest of Toronto and I've been looking in all the standard (Canadian) big boxes for PVC tubing and fittings (Home Depot, Rona, Lowes, Home Hardware and Canadian Tire). All I can seem to find is flimsy yellowish tubing and pricey fittings (elbows and tees) upward of a buck a piece. I don't really mind the price, but that flimsy tubing just doesn't look like it's worth bothering with.
The boat stands I seem to see online are made of more rigid white tubing (schedule 60 I think) which I can seem to find.
I was throwing around the idea to run across the river to Niagara Falls/Buffalo for, among other things, to see if Lowes/Valu/Home Depot in the states sells different stuff (namely the nice rigid white tubing).
Where do you guys get your PVC tubing for boat stands?
