ill have to wait for the 4092 to come instock again. 1390kv.
Serpentine suggested these props, maybe m445 or x447 and check your temps , anybody agree or disagree?

With a motor like a 4092 1390kv you might be able to spin a bigger prop than suggested previuosly
Might be able to, but as always with FE, start with a small prop and work up from there, mine has a 1521/2.5D 1200kv on 8s and use from X438-M646 depending on what I want out of it. 1390kv on 6s is a little lower RPM so you should be in that range assuming that leopards run a little hotter / less efficiently than Neu.
Looks like a Sprint Cat Turbine nitro hull. A leopard 4090 409 2/2Y is rated at 125A, 25V, 4200W, and 1390KV. With 6S2P it would run 30,858 RPM, and with the right prop & setup you should see 60+ MPH.
I suggest you use an offset rudder or it will handle squirely in the straights due to propwash effecting the strudder. JIM

Here's my build, low 60s but high amp draw. Very reliable: Neu 1527/1Y, Schulze 32-170, 6S2P/4500 FlightPowers, worked over x455. The trim tabs are for SAW racing only.

Cool cat Jay. Questions:
1. I don't get why the trim tabs for SAW racing?
2. Are you REALLY still using an FM radio, or do you just like long antennas?

That photo was taken in early 2008, when I built the cat - still had the 75 mHz radio back then because the Spektrum radio I used for oval racing didn't have the range for the long Legg Lake run-ups. If I told you why we used tabs on SAW cats I'd have to kill you......

Geez Jay!!! Thats a bit harsh. How about you send me a PM and I'll trim my fingernails instead?
And Larry, I've never known you to keep your opinion to yourself before - so what's so "obvious" about tabs on a SAW cat? JIM
