TX preferences? Sticks vs. Trigger?

    Fish,

    I have been using Futaba "stick" style TX's for competitive boat racing forever. With that being said, I race cars/trucks using a "wheel" style radio. I don't feel either offers a performance advantage over the other. Stick with what is comfortable to you.

    It's all good. I gave up the helicopter last month. I bought a DX3C for my new hobby! I hope it gets the job done!

    No advantage to either but a wheel and throttle just makes more sense for a boat and a stick makes more sense for a plane/heli just like real life applications. Nothing wrong with using the stick if you are accustomed to it.

    I been flying a Trex 700 Nitro Heli for a few years now and understand how the stick TX works for that application. What advantages does it have over the TX trigger?
