B-Nice work with GX-1 Hydro! I think I know how that .2 seconds is sitting w/you, but you did good! Also congratulations on the Grim Reaper rigger (took 1st place in G-1 Hydro and 1st & 2nd in GX-1 Hydro). You and Grim put a ton of talent into that hull.

Thanks Dave,
Not sitting badly. If you're going to lose a national championship, tied in points and .2 seconds difference isn't a bad way to do it. It's the closest finish anyone could remember.
The boat definitely works.Brian "Snowman" Buaas

When an FE heat, follows a Gas heat, the water tends to be all "chopped up"... At certain lakes, it's worse than at others. At Legg, after a gas heat, the water doesn't calm down immediately. If the program is moving along, which I suspect it was at the Nats... the water for the FE heats was likely not ideal if these heats followed immediately after a Gas boat heat.Originally posted by Insaniac View PostThen why the problem with "gasser" water?Darin E. Exactly !! There's lots of invisible trecherous slop and whirlpools hanging out on the course after a gasser heat as well as rollers from the rescue boat that take forever to dissipate.. And yes, we launched seconds after the previous heat came in. In one heat of P-Mono I was cruising along secure in second place; first was way ahead and third was way back; on the back straight I was tooling along at partial throttle and my boat just mysteriously rolled over - the back straight is far enough away to make a good view of the water condition impossible to read. Even the gassers admit that the entry to turn two after a few laps into a heat has some kind of "Bermuda Triangle" effect where the intersection of wakes creates some kind of a hole which traps/trips/flips even the larger gassers.Originally posted by Darin Jordan View PostWhen an FE heat, follows a Gas heat, the water tends to be all "chopped up"...
