I need a hydro

Only fe class that is making the 5 boat min right now is spec and p hydro.

I want to set up a spec hydro for oval racing.

Ive been looking at the ul1 but don't really want the hardware or esc that comes with it, also i'm pretty sure i will have to change the AOA on the sponsons to get it to stay on the water (prop side down) in race water.

Knowing this and that i can't seem to buy a hull only i was wondering what some other options are. I have two t120s and either a proboat 1500 or the actual ul1( though im not sure i want to take it out of my geico) to put in a hull only.

What else is out there that would do well in spec hydro? Insane hydro? is the miss elam in the same category?

is this the whiplash hull I've been hearing about for p spec?

if so someone mentioned building it. Did they mean putting the hardware on or actually glueing the boat together?

The Whiplash is a wooden kit that you have to build or have someone build for you. It is a FAST boat. It is what I run. The Insane Hydro sounds great but the price is a bit much for me.

The UL-1 is no slouch. It may not be as stable in race conditions as a Whiplash, but it is everybit as fast or faster.
